President Joe Biden signed the “Inflation Reduction Act” last month, which increases IRS agents by 87,000 and its budget by $80 billion. Of the 4,600 guns in the IRS arsenal, 3,282 are pistols, 621 are shotguns, 539 are rifles, and four are revolvers. The agency has 15 automatic weapons (machine guns).
