Georgia GOP Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene is sponsoring a bill to grant Kyle Rittenhouse the Congressional Gold Medal, the highest honor the legislative branch can award to someone.
The bill’s summary says the legislation will “award a Congressional Gold Medal to Kyle H. Rittenhouse, who protected the community of Kenosha, Wisconsin, during a Black Lives Matter (BLM) riot on August 25, 2020.”
The bill likely won’t succeed given Democrats control both the House and Senate. It would also require two-thirds of both chambers of Congress. KEEP READING…
