Sanctuary King County: Man murdered in his sleep by illegal alien with previous felony

by DCG

The price that Americans pay for living in demorat-run cities with sanctuary policies can be their life.

The family of a 56-year-old Seattle man found out the hard way that liberal policies kill loved ones.

According to MyNorthwest.com, the dead victim (identified as Sam Lam who was a legal imigrant) was apparently not the intended target of the illegal alien. The victim was shot while he slept in his bed.

The illegal alien, 25-year-old Julio Cruz-Velasquez, came to America as a child in 2000. He was ordered deported with a group of illegal aliens and they returned to Mexico. The illegal alien came back to America to no doubt “better his life.”

That included garnering a record of felony assault, reckless driving and vehicle prowling, according to KOMO News.

Bryan Wilcox, deputy acting field director for ICE’s Seattle office, told MyNorthwest.com that the illegal alien should have been in the custody of federal law enforcement long ago.

But criminal illegal aliens, unlike American citizens, receive a get-out-of-jail free card in sanctuary cities, counties and states.

Wilcox said, “Had [King] County called us and told us that they were getting ready to release this guy (from his previous convictions), we would have gone to the jail and picked him up, taken him into ICE custody,” Wilcox said. He added, “Had King County honored our detainer and just [given] us notification, made a phone call … he would not have been on the streets to commit this horrific crime.”
