The actions of Aljbin Kurti brought us to the brink of armed conflict, Prime Minister Ana Brnabic assessed today and expressed the opinion that Serbia has the right and intention, according to UN Resolution 1244, to return a certain number of troops to Kosovo.
The press conference follows yesterday’s reports that special forces from Kosovo had arrived in the Serb-populated city of Kosovska Mitrovica. They are believed to have since moved further north to the Bošnjačka Mahala area.
Brnabic pointed out that everything that Kurti is doing at this moment is a danger not only for Serbs, but also for Albanians and the whole of Europe.
