Text Wars on Smartphones and Frenzied Bullshittin’…

By Doug “Uncola” Lynn via TheBurningPlatform.com

In past articles, I’ve written about my political discussions with friends in my social circle and, most often, within a group of us who meet on Saturday mornings for breakfast.  These have included “Breakfast Club: Dining with Friends”,  “The Persistence of Their Delusion is Despicable”“The Rants of the Libtards Ring Hollow then Echo”, and “The Conspiracies are Broad and Deep”.  We all know each other through a shared involvement and patronage of a community organization; and, although attendance has grown through the years, the majority of us are middle-aged, Caucasian, and college-educated professionals.

At least one in our group has no genuine interest in politics, but most of the others can’t stand Trump and consider me to be an ultra-right-wing, crazy conspiracy theorist.  I would say more than a few have outwardly embraced socialist policies, if not Socialism in toto, and then there is a RINO (Republican In Name Only) who responds to me with a loud “F*ck you!” whenever I’ve addressed him as such.

The following consists of text exchanges between the RINO and yours truly just hours before this article was posted.  They occurred at the tail-end of a continued two-day phone and text conversation of which the topic of politics was never broached until, well…, what you see below.

In the interest of full disclosure, one interim text and one at the end were removed from the exchange because they were auto-generated replies when he tried to call me. For some of our discussion, I was on speakerphone with another party and texting him at the same time.  Most of the misspellings were also corrected, and minor inversions of words on two of my own texts were fixed below for clarity – but the overall content, order, and punctuation of each text remains intact.  Therefore, I would say to the best of my ability, the following remains at least 98.5% accurate.

Keep in mind my cellular opponent (i.e. the RINO) professes to be a Republican.  And, seriously, who am I to say otherwise?

Here we go:

RINO: On another hand…I think President Pence may be re-elected in 2020

RINO: But in general you’re a fearful man and it’s OK to acknowledge that fear

ME: Ha, ha!

RINO:  And that man was found guilty of quid pro quo, as told by his own staff, and was forced to resign the start of 2020

RINO: I’m pretty certain it’s over now.

RINO: And it IS too bad since he had great tax policy

RINO: And it will hurt the country

ME: He is legitimately investigating corruption by Biden and the Obama administration in Ukraine.  It’s what he was elected to do. To drain the swamp. The Democrats are now operating a kangaroo court and it’s plain to see.  When reports from Horowitz, Durham, and Huber come out – it won’t be pretty.

ME:  Crowdstrike and Seth Rich. Not near as conspiratorial as Russiagate ever was. We live in interesting times, my friend.

RINO:  Investigating and asking for it is fine… withholding foreign aid to ensure it gets done, that’s a different story

RINO: If it is proven as a quid pro quo… you OK with that?

ME:  Trust me. It will never be proven as a quid pro quo; because it can’t.  It was all over the minute Trump released the transcript. And I’m OK with you seeing it differently! (+ winking emoji inserted – NOTE: that last line is something he says to me on occasion)

ME:  Truth is, it’s just a reality TV show while the roof is on fire.  These two articles pretty accurately summarize my position on the entire affair:

RINO: Unless… he told his people that it was a quid pro quo, and withheld payment until things moved forward

RINO: Then it certainly can be proven

RINO: So if it can be proven where do you land?

ME: For you to be right (i.e quid pro quo), your premise would have to be for Biden to be innocent. He wasn’t because he publicly admitted to doing what you are accusing Trump of doing. That is the context.  Seriously, bud. Please do read those linked articles I sent. I believe you and I will find much to agree in them. They are, by no means, pro-Trump. But they are, I believe, very accurate appraisals of what’s happening.

RINO: No, it doesn’t, “investigate my opponent, or else I’m withholding foreign aid”.  It has nothing to do about his guilt or innocence. It’s abusing the power of the office.

RINO: Even if he is guilty, that is unethical particularly when Ukraine lives are at stake

RINO: The president is putting personal political gain over foreign policy… this is not a good steward

RINO:  But I’m OK that you don’t see it that way

ME: Operation Crossfire Hurricane used Ukrainian agents (via Crowdstrike) to falsely accuse Trump of colluding with the Russians in the 2016 Presidential Election. This preceded Biden becoming a 2020 candidate.  Mueller acknowledged Crowdstrike as the reason behind the Russia investigation. Trump has an electoral mandate to determine what happened and it’s also true the Obama administration was knee-deep in corruption in Ukraine.  That’s all it is bro

RINO: And withholding foreign aid to force them? This seems to be never addressed in anything you say

RINO: You see the front page of the WSJ?

RINO: So you’re OK with him withholding foreign aid?

ME: Dude – Even UKRAINE said that never happened. And New York Times Ken Vogel & WSJ’s Kim Strassel have verified that the Ukrainians weren’t made aware that the assistance was being delayed/reviewed until more than one month after the call.  AND, YET, THE FUNDS WERE NEVER WITHHELD.

ME: The funds were even released before the 2nd hand “whistleblower” (CIA spy) claims we’re made public.

RINO: So they were withheld or threatened to be? That’s enough

ME: And when Trump released the transcript, impeachment died. Just like the Russiagate investigation. You’ll see. Don’t be fooled by the headlines. The mainstream media has gaslighted the American public over the past four years on Trump.

RINO: You read the WSJ? This AM?

RINO:  If he directed his people as a quid pro quo and that’s what they testify to, that’s enough

RINO: The call doesn’t matter in that case

ME: If the Democrats really believed what you claim to believe, they would have a formal vote in the House for impeachment. But they do not want contravening investigations by the Republicans. It’s a banana republic kangaroo court. The Democrats plan to milk impeachment for as long as they can as a campaign issue. It’s all they have.

RINO: You always investigate and get all the truth out first, then the vote will come

RINO: It is coming out the Ukrainians did know of the freeze

RINO: And if it was an election issue, the Dems wouldn’t be moving forward with the investigation as they are. They would stall more.

RINO: Also… has Trump come up with any plausible reason he was withholding monies from Ukraine?

ME: Lol the Democrats will be terrified of Jim Jordan’s 17 questions & it is a fact that U.S. Attorney John Durham has been probing the extent to which several countries, including Ukraine, contributed to the counterintelligence investigation of the Trump campaign. Trust me, that’s what will come out as soon as Pelosi takes a house vote. And if she ever does, the ensuing hilarity will be even better than Mueller’s testimony before Congress. Just sayin’

RINO:  More facts will be coming out in time. It’s amazing how you continually avoid talking about foreign aid… as if that’s not a big deal

RINO: That is the crux of the matter

ME: Like I said, it was all over the minute Trump released the transcript. It showed the actual cruxes of the matter.  1.) Crowdstrike  &  2.) Joe Biden’s admission in his January 2018 appearance at the Council on Foreign Relations:

“I said, I’m telling you, you’re not getting the billion dollars. I said, you’re not getting the billion. I’m going to be leaving here in, I think it was about six hours. I looked at them and said: I’m leaving in six hours. If the prosecutor is not fired, you’re not getting the money. Well, son of a bitch. (Laughter.) He got fired… ”

RINO: Why do you like to avoid the foreign aid question?

RINO:  It’s not since the people are saying there is quid pro quo

RINO: And he hasn’t given us a plausible reason why he withheld it

RINO: If he does, then it will be a different story

RINO: The call wasn’t the only communication with the Ukrainian gov’t.

ME: Read back through my texts and see I clearly addressed it. Perhaps the question is, why are you concerned when even Ukraine said it never happened? Because it’s about politics. Again, the funds were never withheld. In the transcript Trump said “our country has been through a lot” (with the Russiagate collusion lies), he inquired regarding help with obtaining the (Crowdstrike) Ukrainian server (which was at the center of Mueller’s report).  Read the transcript again and see when Biden comes up. Way later. No quid pro quo. No matter how much you want to say so doesn’t make it true. Watch what happens.

RINO: Of course, Ukraine said that!

ME: Sorry but I’m on the phone while I’m texting you. If you believe Ukraine is lying well, that might just be a conspiracy theory! (+ winking emoji)

RINO: No problem… maybe I’m missing something. Trump didn’t threaten and stop the funding and then reinstate it?

ME: A pentagon review was ordered in late June. Lindsey Graham has said the Pentagon wanted to be certain the new Ukrainian president could be trusted. Trump was on board with the finalizing of the review. And, then, the funds were released in September prior to the CIA agent’s “whistleblowing” complaints made public.

RINO: So the answer is “yes” they were withheld, or discussed to be

ME: Common protocol that has now been leveraged by politics. Ukrainegate is a set-up just like Russiagate. Pure politics with headlines whipping people into a frenzy that will fizzle just like Mueller in the end. It’s also why Trump has raised $300 million over this for 2020. Even when the Democrats nominate their socialist clown, they’ll never catch up. The only thing that will stop Trump will be an economic downfall, which is why the Fed has raised rates eight times to Obama’s zero. This way Trump’s tax reform and trade policies can be blamed. Trump is just a speed bump on the way toward socialism anyway.  Presidents are puppets and Trump is just a bleeding of the brake lines before the big stop. Have a great afternoon pal.
