A common misconception about the world I’ve noticed among Vaush and Destiny-type people is the belief that IQs have been rising for the past 200 years and continue to rise to this day.
In reality, Western IQs peaked during the Victorian Era. World IQ has been dropping since 1950 and is projected to continue as such.
People have this view of the Flynn Effect as some magical force that’s still miraculously making people smarter, when even the Flynn Effect has reversed since the 1990s.
Are we becoming more STUPID.
