Three states now probe Fauci after he took the Fifth over 100 times

Louisiana AG Liz Murrill said her office will investigate Fauci.

She is joining Alabama and Florida in looking at possible state law violations.

Announcement came days after a Senate hearing led by Sen. Rand Paul.

Fauci invoked his Fifth Amendment right more than 100 times and refused to answer questions.

He claimed the hearing was an attempt to entrap him.

Murrill noted Louisiana and Missouri previously deposed Fauci.

At those depositions he said he could not recall many key details of his own actions.

Newly released personal diary entries and work records contradict those memory claims.

Biden’s preemptive pardon covers only federal crimes, not state ones.

Florida AG James Uthmeier launched his probe right after the hearing.

Alabama officials, including Sen. Tommy Tuberville, have also signaled interest in state-level action.
