BREAKING: Trump made a deal with Yemen’s Houthis in a secret meeting, promising not to strike seized Houthi-held territory or support Saudi Arabia and Saudi-backed forces in any form, in exchange for keeping the Bab el-Mandeb open to shipping, except to Saudi vessels, per…

Factcheck:
The Muscat meeting is in Reuters. Weekend. U.S. Embassy. Oman helped. Five sources. Houthis said they will not hit American ships and they still honor the 2025 ceasefire. One Yemeni source added: no Israeli ships, no other commercial ships, except Saudi. Mohammad Abdulsalam, sanctioned, was in the room. They are still a designated terrorist group. That part holds. The rest is the account writing a treaty. Reuters did not say Trump “made a deal” not to strike Houthi land or “not support Saudi Arabia in any form.” That is glue. Trump and Vance already said there is contact. Axios, days earlier: MBS called twice asking for U.S. strikes. Trump said no. Intel and targeting data, not bombs. Mixing those two stories into one secret pact is the stretch.
Muscat meeting. Houthi pledges. Trump and Vance on contact.
