An unelected judge suddenly becomes pals with the ultra elite. He takes trips worth millions of dollars and his wife becomes pals with powerful politicians. He doesn’t report his gifts and decides cases in his pal’s favor that increase the power of his benefactors.
By any scale, it’s an outrageous breach.
But before people condemn him and call for his impeachment, they look at what political side he represents. Because he is conservative, we know his job is safe. We yawn because we know party matters more than anything.
They have us so brainwashed “side” matters more than principle.
The elite keep enriching themselves while they keep fermenting this partisan bickering.
