I was watching CNN because they had more live coverage of the rioters, but it forced me to listen to Don Lemon all night. I love it when he tries to sound smart.
He (and protestors) kept making favorable comparisons between the looters and the Boston Tea Party. I also heard some protestors and guests say the same things, so this must be the new talking point. Anyway, EXCELLENT article detailing the full transcript as well as video of him saying it all last night. Check it out:

So, don’t — do not get it twisted and think that oh, this is some — something that has not — never happened before and this is so terrible and where are we and these savages and all of that. This is how this country was started”
Video is a perfect 5:30 minute summary of 10 minutes of babbling. Tea Party comparison happens starting at 4:00 but the whole sad speech is fun to listen to.
