Due to the failure of the mainstream ‘corporate’ media and the destruction of local media, the American people are at a loss for information.
It is rare to find an outlet now that will act properly as a government watchdog. Instead of decimating the truth so people can decide for themselves, the MSM act as propagandists for the government players, pushing a ‘paid for message’.
Because the American people are not as soft and easily led as the ‘powers that be’ believe they are, the people have turned to alternative sources to get their information. And those people didn’t attend Ivy League journalism schools to be trained to push government propaganda.
Those willful people who refuse to go along with the paid narrative, and create their own media, are likely to be supporters of President Donald J. Trump- because he represents an outsider to the political process that has led so many free people into total apathy for the government.
The Press was meant to keep the government in check, but over the last few decades, the corporate press has acted as Public Relations agents of the massive ‘administrative state’ and has sold a narrative to customers.
