While The Dems Begin Impeachment Proceedings, Chuck Grassley Demands To Know If Donald Trump Jr. Was Setup Under The Obama Administration.

by Pamela Williams
Congressman Brad Sherman has become the first to formally introduce an impeachment filing against President Donald Trump over his dealings with former FBI chief James Comey.  So it begins, but Senator Charles Grassley demands to know if Donald Trump Jr. was setup, while meeting with Russian lawyer.
The Los Angeles-area politician described the nation’s position as “dangerous” and said in a statement: “The evidence we have is sufficient to move forward now. And the national interest requires that we do so.”
He went on to say, “Recent disclosures by Donald Trump Jr indicate that Trump’s campaign was eager to receive assistance from Russia,” said Rep. Sherman. “It now seems likely that the president had something to hide when he tried to curtail the investigation of National Security Advisor Michael Flynn and the wider Russian probe. I believe his conversations with, and subsequent firing of, FBI director James Comey constitute obstruction of justice.”
But in steps our hero, Senator Charles Grassley saying, “It is unclear how she was still in the country for that meeting despite being denied a visa beforehand and her parole purportedly expiring on January 7, 2016.  This raises serious questions about whether the Obama Administration authorized her to remain in the country, and if so, why?”
Thank the Lord, that Charles Grassley is known for asking serious questions about all these corruptive acts swirling around President Donald Trump.  He knows the truth.  President Trump lives every day of his Presidency under the threat of attack by the Democrats.  Anyone with a brain knows that by now, and they also know it is unprecedented in the history of the United States.

Grassley also made the bold statement, “I want to be honest with you, my motive for bringing him into the committee is because of other involvements with whether or not the Foreign Agents Registration Act has been adequately enforced by this administration and by the Obama administration,” Grassley said. “Because I think it has been lackadaisical enforcement and I think he’s been an example of lackadaisical enforcement.”
Grassley, also, wants to question Paul Manafort.  However, I had reported in another report that it was my understanding from my research that the Russian group was here to testify for Preet Bharara.  That was convenient timing on Preet’s behalf, but who am I to question Preet Bharara?
Some are saying  Trump Jr. may have incriminated himself and other campaign leaders by essentially admitting to collusion with Russian meddling in the election. But Grassley took a pass when asked whether Trump Jr.’s email raised concerns about criminal activity. Grassley made the statement, “First of all, if there’s anything criminal, I shouldn’t give a judgment on that. That is in the terrain of everything the special counsel is doing,” he said.
My question is the meeting took place before Trump was even nominated, does this have any leaning on the situation whatsoever?
Grassley’s letter notes that Veselnitskaya’s alleged role in efforts to undermine American sanctions as part of her lobbying against the Magnitsky Act was cited in a complaint that she was one of a number of Russian agents who failed to register as such under the Foreign Agent Registration Act.
Again, Preet Bharara should be questioned, too if she was here to testify in a case for him.
Now more from Congressman Brad Sherman on his call to impeach Trump.  He says, “I believe his conversations with, and subsequent firing of, FBI director James Comey constitute obstruction of justice.”
Well, I say that is so inaccurate.  Trump was advised by the Justice Department to fire Comey, and I have gotten so tired of repeating that!
Rep. Sherman’s bid is likely to fail since the House is currently controlled by the Republicans, and only one other Democrat – Texas Representative Al Green – has publicly said he supports impeachment.
Acknowledging that his filing was the first step on a long road, Rep. Sherman said he hoped that over the coming months Republicans would join the effort.
He also expressed hope that the filing could shock the White House into better behaviour, seeing “incompetency replaced by care”.
“Perhaps uncontrollable impulses will be controlled. And perhaps the danger our nation faces will be ameliorated,” he said
In my opinion, our Nation is facing danger, because for the first time in history the Democrats, including a past President is trying to oust the President who was chosen by WE THE PEOPLE in a legal voting process!

It begins:
The Honorable John Kelly The Honorable Rex W. Tillerson
Secretary Secretary
U.S. Department of Homeland Security U.S. Department of State
Washington, D.C. 20528 Washington, D.C. 20520
Dear Secretary Kelly and Secretary Tillerson:
In March of this year, the Committee began investigating the Justice Department’s
response to a formal complaint alleging failure to register properly under the Foreign Agents
Registration Act (“FARA”) and the Lobbying Disclosure Act of 1995. The complaint alleged
that a group of unregistered Russian agents worked in the U.S. on behalf of Russian interests to
undermine the Magnitsky Act and the Global Magnitsky Act.
1 As you know, the Magnitsky Act
was named after Mr. Sergei Magnitsky, a Russian attorney for Hermitage Capital Management.
In 2007, Mr. Magnitsky discovered that corrupt Russian government officials and members of
organized crime had engaged in corporate identity theft, stealing the corporate identities of three
Hermitage companies and using them to fraudulently obtain $230 million, which was then
laundered out of Russia. After reporting the crimes to Russian law enforcement, Mr. Magnitsky
was arrested by the same corrupt officials. He died in custody under suspicious circumstances.

Mr. William Browder, the CEO of Hermitage Capital Management, then engaged in a
concerted effort to obtain justice for Mr. Magnitsky, and in response to his efforts Congress
passed the bipartisan Magnitsky Act, which authorized the President to sanction those involved
in Mr. Magnitsky’s death as well as other Russian human rights abusers. In 2016, the Global

Magnitsky Act was also enacted, applying this sanctions framework to human rights abusers
worldwide.
It is that same Mr. Browder who in July of 2016 filed the FARA complaint with the
Justice Department describing the cohort of Russian agents allegedly involved in the ongoing
effort to undermine the Magnitsky Act.
2
Among them were:
Rinat Akhmetshin, a Russian immigrant to the U.S. who was reportedly a former
Russian GRU counterintelligence officer specializing in active measures
campaigns;3
Glenn Simpson, the founder of Fusion GPS; and
Natalia Veselnitskaya, Russian lawyer for Prevezon Holdings, a Russian-owned
company the Justice Department alleged received millions laundered from the
crime Mr. Magnitsky uncovered.4
I previously wrote Secretary Kelly seeking immigration information related to Mr.
Akhmetshin for the Committee, which I later received.5
Today, I write to the two of you seeking
information relating to Ms. Veselnitskaya.
In 2013, the Department of Justice initiated a civil asset forfeiture case against Prevezon
Holdings, a company owned by Russian Denis Katsyv, the son of a former Russian government
minister.6
The Justice Department argued that his company had received millions of the
laundered $230 million from the conspiracy Mr. Magnitsky discovered. According to her sworn
declaration filed in that case, Natalia Veselnitskaya, a former Moscow prosecutor and founder of
Kamerton Consulting, was retained by Prevezon to assist in the suit.

Grassley’s letter is worth reading in full.  I admire Grassley, as he is always one step ahead in everything that is happening on Capitol Hill.  The American people should be very grateful to Senator Charles Grassley.

  1. Even if Trump Jr. was set up, it doesn’t matter at all. Why? Sting operations happen every single day in the USA. Cops put prostitutes on the street to bust Johns for soliciting. They lure pedophiles in by posing as underage people.
The crime is that he colluded with a Russian agent to receive something of value that would be used to push him further in the election. Had that same information come from someone in the US (because I don’t believe for a moment that no information was exchanged), that would be considered ‘politics’. But no, he colluded with a hostile foreign government in order to change the outcome of an election. That’s illegal, whether any information was obtained or not — conspiracy to commit treason is a crime.
Spin this however you want to, but the fact remains: Trump Jr. committed treason or at the very least conspired to commit treason. Fact.

    • I’m not going to argue with you because there’s no point. I just want to say that if they do manage somehow to take down the President with all of this “fake news” BS, we’re going to be looking at a civil war scenario. I hope you guys realize that and that it’s worth it to you to risk the republic over losing an election.
All the angry white people in flyover country, the ones you deplore, have got water wells, stores of food, and they know how to hunt for food. They are decentralized while you are concentrated in the cities, dependent on fragile, unprotected infrastructure. All of your precious minorities will become refugees, and 90% of them will be dead within the first 2 months.
Just a possible prediction to consider.

        • The Democrats lost over 1000 seats during Obama’s presidency and lost all of the special elections held so far despite throwing millions more into trying to win them than their Republican counterparts.
If their collective tempter tantrum continues then I see this trend continuing until Trump is reelected by a landslide and the Democrats are begging the Green party for political aid.

          • Love the name, “MrLaughingWolf,” However,at this point, it should be called MrCryingWolf, because we are all gonna lose…all of us across parties. I am rather psychic, and my inner being tells me time is up.

      • Agreed…..I fear these types think if they manage to pull off their coup against a duly elected President, that his supporters will go quietly into the night. That is a very dangerous assumption for them to make. One can only hope they come to their senses, if they have any.

        • MAC, they do not have any. I really feel they have won with this last setup of young Trump Jr. However, if Pence gets in, he will not be easy on them. They may think he will, but he is a religious man, and fancies himself righteous….he will die to wage war…there will be Armageddon….get ready for it. I think after this ….Trump is done.

      • You are exactly right, and we might as well get ready. I am ready to leave this world, but I really did not want to die the way it is looking like I will, Civil war will ravage us all.

      • …all those “refugees” will be the ones depopulating the liberal Progressives in the cities. To all you who welcomed the refugees into their cities this will serve to illustrate the lesson that the EU is about to learn…natural selection.

    • She was not a Russian agent….and you need to become better versed in law if you want to throw the treason word around. Trump Jr committed no crime. He did not seek anyone out unlike the Dems enlisting Ukrain.

    • I am not going to argue with that. You make your point very well, and as much as I wish you were not right, you are. Life is such a disappointment, and it is getting more so everyday.
