In the summer of 2008 the #oil price peaked at just under $150 per barrel before the financial crisis sent the price crashing. Back then the DXY was at 73 and the Discount Rate was 6.25%. With the DXY at 95 and the Discount Rate at .25% the next oil price peak may approach $300!
