And just like that, they fire their best news show host in history.
Because corporations are driven by profit, right?
Keep in mind that Fox news bent the knee and paid 700 million for a company that was involved in the election rigging scandal.
They didn’t even try to win this clear 1st amendment case.
From 8pm to 9pm on Fox, there was extreme, even fundamental, disagreements between Tucker and Hannity on those key issues – the kind of internal debate unthinkable on any other network: in lockstep.
I'd wager the new 8pm host will be far more aligned with Hannity: standard GOP.

First the 700 million pay-out/off to Dominion and now firing Tucker… Fox and Dominion are ready for another “fair” election in 2024 /s.
Tucker leaving Fox News is interesting, but I cannot take anyone on Fox News seriously because the entire organization exists to be a gatekeeping operation for right wing people.
They bring up all racial grievance politics and other stuff like the trannyism, but when someone decides to be racially aware they nuke it.
Tucker was their main draw and the reason why most people actually still watched Fox News. To be clear, Tucker’s sole purpose for being on TV was to keep people voting GOP, and to turn pro-White identity talking points into run-of-the-mill Reaganite Republicanism and free market anti-racism.
That said, he was a useful barometer for the where normiecons stand, the shift in the Overton window, and how much control elites have lost on containing the narrative.
His departure does not bode well for Fox News, which is probably attempting to shift and rebrand in the wake of the lawsuit settlement.
The entire right wing complex (Con Inc.) in America refuses to acknowledge that any other point of view or demographic exists outside of boomers who think it’s still 1989 America.
And it’s not like it’s working out either, the GOP is losing elections left and right (and when they win, they don’t do squat).
In this writer’s opinion, Tucker leaving Fox is a good development because they are both far worse off without each other, and they are both gatekeepers to commentary from the Right.
There was a time where Tucker was more of a net positive on conservative discourse, but that time is long over.
Good riddance.
I think Tucker’s next move will be politics, it’s pretty obvious at this point, i.e. another faux conservative/controlled oppo to keep the right wing kosher and happy.
Senate first, presidency next.
There are people out there saying that Tucker will start a new show or whatever.
Fox has a non-compete clause of at least a year and half. That’s how Megyn Kelly got memory ho’ed.
These aren’t the days where he can just walk across the street and work at another network.
