Wow, I Wonder Why People Don’t Want to Work Anymore

by Chris Black

Color me shocked boomers:

We’ve reached a point where the handouts/gibs are equal to having a Dunkin Donuts level job.

These people have zero incentive to go back to work when they can get just as much money for free doing nothing.

And if you’ve ever met a Dunkin Donuts type wagie, you know that they are extremely lazy and would happily live in a tiny apartment if it means they don’t have to work at all.

People tend to work as hard as they perceive they’re being rewarded.

If no one is working it’s because there’s not enough reward in it.

Wages for low-level jobs have barely moved since the 80’s, and the recession has been the straw that broke the camel’s back.

That’s also why quality at these kinds of places has gotten even worse, because when you pay peanuts, you get monkeys.

Nobody with any brains is going to spend 40 hours of their week just to be fractionally less broke than they currently are.
