Technology was good enough , but —- not too invasive.
It explains great deal of it.
- society was not that dumb and lazy comparing to today.
- Corporations were much weaker and smaller
- banking and pharma industries, especially
- much less time spent in front of electronic devices
- despite women working LESS, much more real INCOME for a family
- way less MORTGAGES
Western folks traded all that quality of living for consumption of electronic devices, designer clothes, pharma pills, big houses and big cars bought with DEBT and a rat race to repay these debts
