When disasters happen the level of news coverage any incident gets depends on who is in charge. Example 911, Hurricane Katrina, and COVID got massive News Coverage for years. All because Republicans were in control. But when Disasters happen when a Democrat is in charge it gets the bare minimum coverage possible and quickly goes away.
