The great thing about the internet is we can sift through all the hysteria and hype, find information and sources and form our own opinions.
Numerous times I’ve been here on GLP, watching CSPAN with all of you, giving a play-by-play of what transpired during Congressional inquiries and shared this information with others here who were unable to watch it. We can go to YouTube and find these videos, post them here and play them back. We can go on twitter, FB, etc and post links to this information. If I want to know what my POTUS has to say about something, I can go directly to his twitter and get it straight from him! I don’t need Anderson Cooper, Rachel Maddow or even Sean Hannity to tell me what to think.
We are witnessing an information awakening and are in the middle of an information war.
In many ways, what we are seeing with this new, enlightened information age (and those trying to silence it) is similar to Martin Luther and the Protestant Reformation. Martin Luther took on corruption of the Catholic church – the corruption that tried to control and enslave the masses. Martin Luther told the people that they didn’t need Priests as intermediaries in translating the bible – that they could learn to read and interpret the readings for themselves.
