House to vote on draft farm bill with food stamp changes

The House Agriculture Committee approved a five-year farm bill on Wednesday that includes revisions to the food stamp program. Able-bodied adults without children who are on food stamps will be required to work. The program currently covers some 40 million families or individuals who are food insecure.
