Afghan Soldier Killed, 3 Injured In Kabul Airport Firing; Biden Highlights Threat Of ISIS Attack

A firefight broke out between unidentified gunmen and US & German troops at Kabul airport. Distressed Afghan citizens continue their efforts to leave the country which is now under the Taliban. US President Joe Biden said they will attempt to complete evacuations by August 31. Joe Biden, however, did not rule out the possibility of extending the deadline if necessary. Taliban leader Abdul Qahar Balkhi said they are in talks with the US about the security arrangement at Kabul airport.
