Food Stamps, EBT, SNAP, Numbers by race…

I just want to lay down some numbers.
And for the record, yes, more white people are on Food Stamps than Black people. That is a undeniable fact. So here is how it breaks down:
Population by race:
White: 224,000,000
Black: 39,000,000
Hispanic: 50,400,000
Number of people on Food Stamps by race.
White: 19,475,000
Black: 17,100,000
Hispanic: 8,550,000
Percent of population on Food Stamps by Race:
White: 8.6%
Black: 43.8%
Hispanic: 17%

So what is the point of this post?
Well, the left often brags about how many more White people are on Food Stamps than Black People.
But they never put this into proper context.
I just want to make sure people have the opportunity to see the data.

And yes the “other” group was left out because I got lazy.

    • Typical Democrat with deficient reading comprehension.
No, idiot, his conclusion simply puts the statistics provided by the USDA in perspective, based upon the percentage of each race in the country.
USDA figures strictly report the raw percentage of beneficiaries based upon race — in other words, the statistics you just regurgitated. The USDA does NOT take into account the relative size of each group nationally and therefore, the likelihood that people of a given race are to be on food stamps.

  1. 35% of food stamp recipients are white, 23% African American and 14% Hispanic. Source: Characteristics of Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program Households, USDA
Your conclusion is not supported by fact.

      • I just researched it. You are spreading false information. You should be a shame of yourself, but since you don’t have morals. It does not matter. Medicare shows close to 71% in every state except the District of Columbia. At least, I know the facts and I am not trying to twist them.

          1. The above blog post is about food stamps, not Medicare.
          2. Workers and their employers pay into Medicare through a dedicated tax withheld from every paycheck. The program provides health care coverage for those workers and their spouses when they retire.
          3. Therefore, MEDICARE IS NOT WELFARE. You are confusing the program with MEDICAID, which is.
          4. The District of Columbia is our nation’s capital, and as specified by the Constitution is not to be a state.
          5. Assuming your figures are correct, the percentage of MEDICARE recipients who are white in D.C. is substantially lower than in the states because there are so many blacks in that city. They constitute only 13% of the American population, but a huge 50% of the capital’s residents.
          6. Given whites, Asians, and Hispanics are relatively recent (meaning younger) arrivals, the city’s elderly will be even more black than the overall population of the city.

          • It does not matter if you pay into it or not. It is still a program that white people tend to take more than they put in. I knew it was medicaid. Whites also nationally rely more on Snaps than blacks.

          • Many of the poor elderly can qualify for no premium and other free medicine through Medicare D or low cost, maybe once they become eligible they take them off medicaid and put in Medicare as they reach age, I used to work in health/life yet I’m sure it’s completely different now.

        • … you don’t have morals …

Opinions don’t make us immoral — actions make us immoral.

          • Actions are not truly represented by records and statistics because they can be bias toward one race or the other. White grand juries and judges ignoring the law and not prosecuting whites for same crimes blacks get the book throw them for. So,we are back at zero. You can say so many blacks did this and did that. But when a white serial killer does 40 years of killing people. You are no able to count it in a years with criminal activity. Or when the police officers murder someone and claim he went for his gun when he actually did not and get off free with Mob and fascist jury of white peers. It speaks volumes. You people can never open your mouth about morality because you are a joke representative of morals. I will reply.

  2. This is 3 years old, and says nothing about why it says more whites. Do the blacks get other assistance per child whereas the white man might be laid off work? Or are the whites disabled? The native american Indian receives benefits from their tribe, they pay no fees, taxes etc. So to be fair all environment of people must be looked at as to why they are receiving and why many don’t qualify. 500,000 are supposed to be removed, the glitch alone made some act out, what will happen when many lose all assistance?

  3. There is a lot more whites is this Country, it is not accurate as far as population per race. if there’s only 10000 blacks and 1000000 whites then 5000 blacks and 10000 would conclude that there’s a lot more black.

  4. Your post is idiotic. Trying to manipulate statistics and not doing a very good job at it.
As a taxpayer, you don’t pay taxes based on percentage. you pay taxes based on the NUMBER of people collecting. So throw in all the percentages you want. They’re irrelevant.
I’d rather give a dollar to each of the 39 million than a dollar to each of the 224 million.
Don’t go into business. You’ll go bankrupt.

  5. This is a complete lie. There are only 20 million adult black people in America. The rest are children. So your say all black adults or on food stamps. I don’t know one black man on food stamps and 90 of the black women I know don’t get anything from the government. This makes no mathematical sense. I don’t have to research to know this is a complete lie.

  6. ‘proper context’ would include the reasons people are poor in the first place, beginning with racism, sexism, etc . poor people need, qualify for, and use snap benefits . without addressing poverty, you’re only attempting to exonerate white people as using less aid, per capita … without addressing the fact that white people have inherited wealth created by the labor of black and brown people

    • What?? How is racism and sexism a reason for being poor in 2018? ???? This is hilarity at it’s finest. I grew up in the hood so I have seen poverty through the lens (including my own) of many different races. And believe you, me, those two jokes of a reason are not contributing factors. Let me replace those two jokes with two logical reasons: Poor education (or lack thereof) and having children at a very early age and/or out of wedlock.

      • i’ll wait for your documentation . won’t be surprised when your documentation doesn’t include employers refusing to hire people of color . there’s already plenty documentation that employers or h.r. personnel, when given two identical applications, don’t even look at the one having a ‘black sounding’ name
racism is real, regardless of your anecdotal experience

        • So racism precludes black people from getting jobs and succeeding does it? Then please tell me how an 18 year old, unlicensed black kid without a medical degree was not only able to practice medicine, but was also able to open his own practice? And after he was arrested, he later commited the same exact crime. Do you know how many white people have to trust you to be able to pull that off? I’m pretty sure you can figure it out.
And before you say that this is anecdotal evidence, there is another (among others) man who did a nearly identical scheme. Except in this case the fake doctor managed to kill a woman via a (obviously) highly dangerous concoction for butt implants she received. He even managed to open his own clinic.
Also, how about the young Indian man who faked being black to get into medical school? How racist of them to prefer one student over another soley based on race and not, oh I don’t know, grades? An excerpt from what he stated about his experience: “Data suggested that the medical schools were discriminating against their Asian-American and white students and in favor of their black and Hispanic applicants.” (Links to all incidents, below)
I wish I could speak to you in person with some of my black, Dominican, and other minority friends, and watch them tell you that they have become successful through hard work and dedication. And that there isn’t a white boogyman lurking in the shadows, just waiting to take the black man down.
I find it funny (sad really), when Obama was elected, how yhe far left was in a state of bliss because they felt that a huge blow to racism had been delt (which is true) now that a black man had been elected for two terms. But now that Trump is President, it’s like that monumental accomplishment has been completely negated; which is ridiculous. And let’s not forget, many of those white people that voted for Trump also voted for Obama.
And yes, you’re right, “racism is real”: there are racist white, black, asian, hispanic people, etc. If you were refering to “systemic racism”… well this is 2018, not  the1960’s. Peace.
