Over 400,000 gallons of radioactive water has leaked from a nuclear plant

The Minnesota Department of Health and other state agencies are currently monitoring the Xcel Energy Monticello Nuclear plant after over 400,000 gallons of water containing a radioactive water and chemicals has leaked into the ground at the site. The agency says the leak hasn’t left the facility or contaminated drinking water sources. The company said there’s no danger to the public.
