Stock market keeps rising without actual fundamentals supporting. But hey, who cares about fundamentals when we have the Fed who loves us, right?
In mainstream finance, we’re always looking at the same handful of indicators. It’s actually quite an embarrassment. U3 unemployment rate, U.S. stock market, 200-day moving average, PE Ratios, and a couple others. If any of these turn sour, we’ll just say it’s temporary. Even if it isn’t the Fed will fix it because they love us dearly. Well they me, don’t they?
