Falling from a tree and having stones thrown at you doesn't cause this level of fear to be scorched into the eyes.
This kid saw things, things people were never meant to see. No doubt experienced some of those things first hand. pic.twitter.com/dgPOW35iZL

National Guard commander Oleksandr Pivnenko says the 14-year-old boy found inside the detention facility near Kyiv got there after falling from a tree. He claims soldiers brought the boy inside to protect him from rocks thrown by protesters, gave him medical help and wrapped him in a blanket. The boy was later escorted out of the building. The explanation has raised another question about the incident: how did a teenager end up inside a facility where dozens of men were reportedly being held? Four men were taken for medical treatment, and Ukraine’s State Bureau of Investigation has opened a case over alleged abuse.
