For reference, the Islamic Golden age had taxes at a whopping 5% and they were a huge super power. If they could manage that for 100’s of years, there is no excuse we can’t manage that. This is another way the elites suffocate us by diminishing our wealth not only through inflation (inflation at 2%/year means wages will never keep up with inflation which means we get poorer every year), but also through taxation.
