by Dave Here’s a long term valuation chart – total market cap of all US equities divided by GDP.  It suggests that, from a valuation standpoint, we haven’t exceeded 2000 quite yet.  That’s because GDP has doubled from 2000 to today. But you probably can’t call this market cheap either.
