Something’s Happening Here: Democrats laying foundation for action with their post-Election Day doomsday warnings.

Democrats are setting the stage for something, what it is isn’t yet exactly clear. The are moving in unison along with the mainstream media to predict that Biden will win the election based on mail-in ballots counted in the weeks after Election Day, Trump will refuse to leave office, and then … well, then what?

None of this can be coincidence. The memo has gone out.

We’ve covered various iterations of these warnings, including from Hillary Clinton, a Democrat data group, and a Democrat-NeverTrump wargame analysis, in two recent posts:

Having spent four years perfecting resistance litigation against Trump, there is little doubt that Democrats will try to find a judge somewhere somehow who will issue an injunction or other relief to enable this theft to take place. Such relief may not ultimately prevail, but it will further the chaos.

Now we have Bernie Sanders, cheered on by Chuck Schumer, issuing similar warnings. Via Politico, Bernie warned, America must be prepared for when Trump refuses to leave office:

Bernie Sanders fears President Donald Trump will refuse to leave office if he loses reelection and is calling on Congress and the media to take action to prepare for that scenario now, he said in an interview with POLITICO.

“This is not just idle speculation,” said Sanders, pointing to comments the president made at the GOP convention. “Trump was saying that the only way he could lose the election is if there was — let me get the exact quote — ‘the only way they can take this election away from us is if this is a rigged election.’ Now he is making that statement at a time when virtually every national poll has him behind.”….

Sanders is also going to lay out in his message to his supporters a series of steps that should be taken now to prepare for the election. He will say news organizations need to alert people that the election results may not be known on Nov. 3. Social media companies “must finally get their act together” to ensure that election officials are not harassed and disinformation is not spread on their platforms, he said….

Sanders said he is worried about what some Democratic strategists have called a “red mirage”: The appearance of a Trump lead on the night of the election in some battleground states, even if he lost, due to the fact that Republicans are more likely to vote in person, whereas many Democrats are planning to vote using mail ballots, which will take longer to count.

Bernie is not ruling out calling his supporters into the streets:

Sanders, who had a highly active group of volunteers during his two presidential campaigns, declined to answer whether he would call on his supporters to hit the streets if Trump refused to leave office, saying, “I don’t want to speculate about what happens the day after the election.”

Chuck Schumer, linking to the Politico article, is joining Bernie’s call:

This is important: I’m standing side-by-side with @SenSanders to make sure we have a plan if President Trump refuses to leave office.

The Democrats’ plan for the military in the coming coup.

The Democrats have played a long game and are confident that, when they begin their openly planned coup, the military will support them.

Michael Anton’s essay is framed as a question: “The Coming Coup?” In fact, Anton proves that the planned coup is already in play. Unlike the ordinary conspiracy theory that requires a wild-eyed, paranoid person to connect imaginary dots to create invisible lines, with wildly disparate facts forced together into an impossible scenario, Anton simply points to the Democrats’ own words:

Over the summer a story was deliberately leaked to the press of a meeting at which 100 Democratic grandees, anti-Trump former Republicans, and other ruling class apparatchiks got together (on George Soros’s dime) to “game out” various outcomes of the 2020 election. One such outcome was a clear Trump win. In that eventuality, former Bill Clinton White House Chief of Staff John Podesta, playing Biden, refused to concede, pressured states that Trump won to send Democrats to the formal Electoral College vote, and trusted that the military would take care of the rest.

The leaked report from the exercise darkly concluded that “technocratic solutions, courts, and reliance on elites observing norms are not the answer here,” promising that what would follow the November election would be “a street fight, not a legal battle.”

Let me repeat what might have been lost on you: One of the scenarios was a “clear Trump win.” That is, the Democrats are not talking about making an uproar if there’s a repeat of the 2000 election when one state (Florida) had a narrow victory for Bush. Instead, the Democrats are saying that if Trump has a repeat of Nixon’s 49-state sweep, they’re going to take to the street.

What you really need to pay attention to in the above plan is how important the military is to this plan. As you see, the Democrats assume that “the military would take care of the rest.” Anton talks about retired military officers who are all on board:

It started with the military brass quietly indicating that the troops should not follow a presidential order. They were bolstered by many former generals—including President Trump’s own first Secretary of Defense—who stated openly what the brass would only hint at. Then, as nationwide riots really got rolling in early June, the sitting Secretary of Defense himself all but publicly told the president not to invoke the Insurrection Act. His implicit message was: “Mr. President, don’t tell us to do that, because we won’t, and you know what happens after that.”

The problem with the upper brass isn’t new. I already wrote last fall about the way Obama seeded the Pentagon with Deep Staters who have more reverence for permanent power than they do for the Constitution. After all, Trump, by making peace in the Middle East and in the Balkans, and by refusing to engage in wars that don’t directly benefit America, is a threat to these officers — and that’s despite the fact the Trump has built up the military like crazy. Once the military’s built up, the retired officers no longer have well-paid sinecures in the military-industrial complex and the active-duty officers have fewer opportunities for promotion. For them, Trump’s a career killer.

Trump Takes Aim at Marxist Propaganda Behind the BLM Riots.

On Friday, President Donald Trump ordered that federal agencies cease leading any training sessions that push “critical race theory,” “white privilege,” or any other “propaganda effort” teaching that either the United States or any race is inherently racist or evil. On Sunday, he announced that the Department of Education (DOE) is investigating schools that teach The New York Times‘ “1619 Project” and warned that any school doing so “will not be funded.”

Trump is pushing back against the rising tide of Marxist critical theory. This noxious ideology, championed in the 1619 Project and in the “anti-racism” movement supporting the official Marxist Black Lives Matter organization, has inspired much of the violent looting, rioting, and arson in cities across America this summer. Indeed, some have referred to the riots as “the 1619 riots” for this reason.

Trump’s assault on Marxist critical theory

On Friday, Russell Vought, director of the Office of Management and Budget (OMB), sent a memo to the heads of executive departments and agencies, ordering them to cease using curricula based on Marxist critical theory for their employee trainings.

“It has come to the President’s attention that Executive Branch agencies have spent millions of taxpayer dollars to date ‘training’ government workers to believe divisive, anti-American propaganda,” Vought wrote. The OMB director seems to have been referring to the 1,483 pages of Department of Defense (DOD) training materials Judicial Watch unearthed in July. An April 2015 training, for instance, branded the idea that “individual effort is key to success” as a form of “Racist Behavior.”

Vought referenced training sessions that teach that “virtually all White people contribute to racism” and others claiming that “there is racism embedded in the belief that America is the land of opportunity or the belief that the most qualified person should receive a job.”

“These types of ‘trainings’ not only run counter to the fundamental beliefs for which our Nation has stood since its inception, but they also engender division and resentment within the Federal workforce,” Vought wrote. “The President has directed me to ensure that Federal agencies cease and desist from using taxpayer dollars to fund these divisive, un-American prpaganda training sessions.”

While OMB will issue more detailed guidance in the future, Vought instructed federal agencies to “identify all contracts or other agency spending related to any training on ‘critical race theory,’ ‘white privilege,’ or any other training or propaganda effort that teaches or suggests either (1) that the United States is an inherently racist or evil country or (2) that any race or ethnicity is inherently racist or evil.” Federal agencies should find ways to divert federal funds away from these sessions.

“The divisive, false, and demeaning propaganda of the critical race theory movement is contrary to all we stand for as Americans and should have no place in the Federal government,” Vought concluded.

On Sunday, President Trump also brought a similar strategy to the Department of Education (DOE). He responded to someone warning that California schools have started teaching from the 1619 Project, which claims that America’s true founding came not with the Declaration of Independence in 1776 but with the arrival of the first black slaves in 1619.

(While the first black slaves arrived in the land that would become South Carolina as early as 1526, the 1619 Project is more concerned with branding America as inherently and fundamentally racist than with particular dates. The project’s founder, Nikole Hannah-Jones, has admitted that her enterprise is “not about history,” but rather about “memory” and the “national narrative.”)

As for schools teaching from the 1619 Project, the president tweeted that the “Department of Education is looking at this. If so, they will not be funded!”
