From declassified CIA inspector general reports:
– Over the past 14 years 10 CIA employees and contractors have committed sex crimes against children.
– One employee had sexual contact with a 2 year od and a 6 year old, he was fired.
– A second employee purchased 3 sexually explicit videos of young girls filmed by their mothers, he resigned.
– A third employee estimated that he had viewed up to 1400 sexually abusive images of children while on agency assignments. The records do not show what action if any the agency took against him.
– A contractor who arranged for sex with an undercover FBI agent posing as a child had his contract revoked.
– Only one of the individuals cited in these documents was charged with a crime. In that case, as in the only previous known case of a CIA staffer charged with sexual crimes; the employee was also under investigation for mishandling classified material.
From a 2009 Department of Defense report:
– In November of 2009 the Department of Defense acknowledged dozens of Pentagon staff had images of child porn.
From the Inspector General of the Intelligence Community:
– In 2014 the inspector general of the intelligence community found that 2 officials from the National Reconnaissance office, which oversees Americas spy satellites; acknowledged viewing images of child sexual abuse during polygraph examination.
From top Pentagon Security Official Daniel Payne:
– At a symposium in 2016 Pentagon security official Daniel Payne said that when workers computers are examined the amount of child porn he sees is just unbelievable.
