Wormhole hacked for $320 million

According to industry service Elliptic, the hackers created 120,000 digital coins from wETH, a variant of Ethereum, the second most important cyber currency after Bitcoin. At that time, these had a total value of around 320,000 million dollars. The attackers would then have fed 94,000 of the new wETH into the Ethereum blockchain, in which all transactions with this cryptocurrency are stored.
